Waaaaatttt!!
They
didn’t need a preparation(?) (no.. exactly, they sure enough didn’t give us
time to breath) for
their Japanese comeback this month. Yap! They released Polar star, 9th Japanese
single, right after ended their promo for 4th K-album Five Treasure Box. They
released polar star on Nov 28.
Honestly,
at first, (maybe) because of
its time release and only one month after their K-comeback, I had a feeling
that this single would be ordinary although I was still excited about their
comeback.. But, I did big mistake! after heard Polar star in October, I should
have known better. FTISLAND’s works in
Japan must be not something ordinary, girl! So, How should I say now? Omo Omo..
They successfully drowned me so deep
into this single.
I
heard Polar Star on October and I fell for it immediately. It’s a nice song. I
love how they distribute the vocal among Hongki, Jaejin, and Seunghyun. Jaejin
and Seunghyun, both of their voices well matched with Hongki’s. Perfect by
nature! Jonghun’s guitar, although I know nothing about instruments, but, this
year, his guitar playing in all of their song has really stood out! This song
tells bout unchanging feeling just like the stars. This song topped #2 Oricon
in the first day release immediately. Woooow!!
The
second one is Fallin’ for You. This song is distinctively... Jaejin work of
art! Jaejin-ah... you must have a whole a lot of heartbreak to share. :'(. This
song is absolutely beautiful, even if you don’t know the meaning of the song,
*trust me!! ^^ This is Jaejin style, just like Yume, totally heartbreaking.
Beautiful
World, this song, definitely it’s not something we have definitely heared from
FTISLAND before. This song is composed by Jonghoon. He never fail to amaze me
for creating such great songs. His piano playing.. wooow, I’m speechless! even,
he became Joo Ji Hoon’s fingers for five fingers. Daebaaak~
Beautiful
world is absolute magic!
The
lyrics is great, it talks about of two people, perhaps a couple that move on
from their past to a new world that they dream of.. I like the part that tells
about we can’t erase our past no matter how hard we try, but, not forgiving
can’t change a single thing. Yep! Forgiving but not forgetting..
